Can the site be physically separated?
A lockable, weatherproof and dust-controlled division with independent access is the starting point—not a plastic sheet across a doorway.
Will kitchen, bathroom or power be unavailable?
Duration and timing of shutdowns must be visible before occupation is considered practical.
Can work hours coexist with the household?
Young children, pets, night shifts, calls and study may make temporary accommodation the better project decision.
Who carries the extra time and cost?
Staging around occupation can extend programme and site preliminaries. Compare that cost with moving and storage.
